The Preacher

Today I'm going to talk about one of my favourite comics, which is The Preacher, wrote by Garth Ennis (favorite comic writer) and published by Vertigo DC comics (favorite publishing house), this comic has as protagonist Jesse Custer who is a preacher that one day on a church got possessed by "Genesis", the born child between an male angel and a female demon. "Genesis" escaped from heaven because God and the angels want him death because of his origin to earth, were he or she met Jesse Custer, after Jesse was possessed Genesis became part of him, given him the power of that whatever Custer says the person listening has to do as he says. The main villain of this comic is God and some other like Azrael, this is because God has some influence on the Jesse`s childhood and also wanted Genesis Death. The comic has greats characters like Cassidy which is an alcoholic vampire and also best Jesse's friend and Tulip, Jesse's girlfriend. The comic has a lot of gore and a really intrigating history which I highly recommend
